Advanced Structural Technique – Lower Extremity
This one-day practical workshop is an opportunity to develop and update structural technique skills for the lower extremity. Techniques for diagnosing and treating will be demonstrated for the hip, knee, ankle and the many joints of the foot including the subtalar joint and the talo-crural joint. There will be discussions about the common injuries to these joints which present in the clinical environment including lateral collateral ligament sprain of the ankle and osteoarthritis of the hip. Having three Osteopaths to hand, all participants will benefit from their experience and will be helped to refine their techniques to an advanced standard.

Advanced Structural Technique – Lumbar Spine & Pelvis
In this practical workshop the participants will be able to acquire and develop structural techniques for the lumbar spine and pelvis. Soft tissue, articulatory and manipulative techniques will be visited during this highly practical workshop. Emphasis will be on common clinic scenarios that practitioners are faced with daily. Different techniques will be demonstrated for all positions so to enable the practitioner to deal with the acute and chronic presentations.
10th December – Oxford Brookes
Advanced Structural Technique – Upper Extremity
This intensive one-day practical workshop aims to give the participants the skills for diagnosing and treating all the joints within the upper extremity. Techniques will be taught with relevance to clinical situations such as lateral epicondylitis, carpel tunnel syndrome and adhesive capsulitis. The course is aimed at manual therapists who want to make their techniques they already use more proficient and to add more advanced techniques to their current repertoire.
Each course provides the attendees 7 hours of CPD
All courses cost £125 and a place can be secured with a £50 deposit
